Reflection.
I attended a presentation about " Diez tensiones" concerning our Educational System. It was delivered by the Sociologists Dr. Emilio Tenti Fanfani. He focused his attention on interesting points about Education, but one of the most important, for me, was the study of language as an object of study. He argued that it could be better to use the language as an instrument for students in order to communicate correctly.
I agree with him on this point, even more so when the lecturer added that subjects like English, Maths and Tecnology are completely necessary for students to achieve a good competence.
Apart from that, I completely agree with the idea that schoolar " massing and obligatoriness" has contributed to setting the Institution " School " under suspicion; it means, for me, that it has to do with the low quality of education nowadays.
In my opinion, I could appreciate that for the lecturer all past time was better for education.

Can we change the world from the classroom?
"Yes, absolutely". A teacher of English answered me before finishing her presentation about "Conflictos áulicos" that I attended.
Her spontaneous answer made me think because I didn`t feel so optimistic about it. My question was, What makes her think in that way? Then I understood, She was involved in changing the world.
